Our cat, Lynx, is 7 years old. Fixed. Very loveable.
We are total animal lovers and wouldn't even think of doing any fur critter harm.
In the past 3 months or so, Lynx will let out an annoyed meow and attack-bite my boyfriends hand. He's just browsing on his phone, not doing a thing. Lynx has NEVER ONCE done this to me. Ever.
Bf and I use the same soap, so it's not like he has some odd hand smell she hates. Yet she follows him everywhere loving on him and enjoys pettings, belly rubs, sleeping on his lap, sleeping next to him when he sleeps, runs to the door to greet him when he's coming up the walk from work, caterwauls for 45 min when he leaves for work., etc. He adores her as well.
Yet my bfs arm and hand looks like he's got wounds all over from her. She doesn't do it constantly, just very periodically throughout the day. She will do that odd meow, bite him, he says "NO" each time, yet she will then come to me for pets and go back to him for pets like nothing happened. Even if he gives more attention, she still bites him.
I'm at a loss and decided to ask here. Her diet hasnt changed, she's treated very very well by us both, gets enough play time and energy zoomies, tons of attention and affection.
