We recently had to put down our senior cat. He was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure and treatment just wasn’t the best option for him.
Our younger cat has had accidents here and there since our senior started to become ill. They weren’t best friends, but she lived with him since she was a kitten.
We plan to keep an eye on her for a couple of days and take her to the vet if things don’t improve.
My questions: Could this behavior be relayed to grief or anxiety? Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips for helping her adjust?
