Hey Reddit, I apologize in advance for formatting as I am on mobile.
My male cat just turned a year old, and he was neutered at 5/6 months.
Just within the past week, he has become rather horny, and I’ve twice caught him making not-so-innocent biscuits on my very submissive (spayed) female dog. This has NEVER happened before, and I’ve actually never even seen him with his “red lipstick” out until this week. He’s using the litter box and he isn’t spraying, and so far I haven’t found any ~byproduct~ of his pleasure biscuits.
We do have a lot of stray cats in the neighborhood and I considered that maybe they’re in heat and he’s just picking up on the pheromones. Does anyone have experience with this particular situation? Do you guys thing this is something I should be worried about?
I know “see a vet” is always the best option but my state is currently under lockdown and I am jobless due to the apocalypse.
