Chewy.com Fulfillment

Hey guys,

I just got a puppy a few weeks ago and ordered a second crate for his comfort. So FedEx send me the package but it gets sent back due to "failing the customs inspection"... I live in Maryland and the package was sent from Pennsylvania, FedEx... Go home you're drunk.

Anyways, I try calling FedEx and they said already returned it. I contacted Chewy where the customer service rep apologized for the damaged product (uh who said anything about damaged?) and would shortly be sending a new one. So far I've been waiting since March 23rd on this order and the second shipment which I was told would be delivered about 7 to 10 days from April 3rd, has yet to ship at all... What's that 5 or 6 days?

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with e-commerce and to be honest makes me not want to use Chewy again. I've been saying to hell with FedEx for years - they are seriously the worst out of USPS, UPS, and themselves. Chewy said they weren't expediting orders at this time due to coronavirus - that's fine but send it in it's normal timeliness!

Anyone else have an experience like this? Are my expectations too high with the impacts of covid-19 on logistic centers?
