I have a 3 year old samoyed mix. Not sure what he’s mixed with, but he barks CONSTANTLY.
He was like this as a puppy, and I regret so much not being dedicated to teaching him otherwise :(
I’ve tried everything. Ignoring him doesn’t work. He will bark for hours, no exaggeration.
I’ve tried spraying him with water, and I’ve tried one of the bark sensors that makes the high pitch sound. That seemed to work for a little while but then he got used to it I think.
I’ve tried a shock collar too, that seemed to work, but I really don’t agree with those and he has really thick hair so it’s hard to get the sensor on him lol, so it only worked about 65% of the time so i’m not sure if he understood why he was being punished.
Please help :(
