I have a black Bombay short-haired cat who I didn't realize had fleas until today. She hadn't been itching that much. She's indoor/outdoor. I would rather her be mostly indoor but she loves being outside and she goes to the bathroom outside (she was a stray before she showed up at our house and that was how she was used to going to the bathroom). Anyway, we found fleas on her today and gave her a bath with Dawn soap. My mom made us put her outside so the fleas couldn't get in our house although they probably already have. I'm paranoid they are in my bedding because she sleeps on the end of my bed every night and cuddles with me in the morning. What do I need to do? Just wash the sheets in hot water?
Also, we're taking her to the vet Monday when they open to get her flea and tick medicine but does the Frontline stuff from Walmart work because I'll go get it tomorrow if it does. I don't want her to be miserable and she loves attention and pets and she isn't getting them right now for obvious reasons.
