So I found three kittens outside. I would say about 3- 4 weeks old? We had to move them for a bit (there was something outside attacking their mum, we found one dead kitten a bit further back). She then ran away after.
We put the kittens in a hald heated box with a bit of wet food and water. Then put the box outside, although not in the same spot (lots of raccoons here). The cat I think is the mum keeps wandering around. She walked around the box, seemed a bit interested but then left without seeing her kittens at all. They're pretty far back on the heated part, but the box does smell like their.. accidents.
I was watching from the porch (it is like 3am? Racoon time, and there are other stray cats around) but was pretty far away. She came up halfway up the porch, saw me. Seemed to think about it and just calmly walked away. Think she's abandoned them or she will be back? Should we be buying kitten milk and bottles tomorrow??
