We are getting a puppy, and have been planning to for quite some time. The plan was for my parents to keep my kids while my husband and I went to get him. With the extended stay at home order in our state that won't be able to happen and now I am wondering the safest way to get a puppy home if it ends up being only me in the car, he's a golden retriever so not extremely small. I saw some people setting up crates in the back of their car, but I feel like that isn't the best introduction to the crate that I want to be able to make into a happy space later.. I accept I may be completely over thinking everything and it's not as hard as I'm making it.
