About a year ago my mom got a german shepard, even though we already had multiple pets, and since then the dog has done nothing to misbehave. The dog is very aggressive towards everything. She can’t go to dog parks. She can’t go on walks. Whenever I have friends over she jumps aggressively on them. She attacks my dog and my cat, which we have had for years. She almost killed someone’s chicken. She bit the neighbors dog, and the neighbor threatened to kill her. She attacked someone taking a walk with their <1 year old child. No matter what she does for some reason my family doesn’t care. I’ve tried to talk to them about it multiple times but they say they will train her, but they never do, and the dogs behavior is getting worse and worse. The dog has chewed up $100s worth of my stuff, and still isn’t potty trained. I don’t know what to do, my family won’t listen and doesn’t seem to care what the dog does. I want to get rid of the dog, but that’s not in my control. How can I convince my parents to get rid of the dog?
