I have to wonder... When things are safe again, and we all go back to work and our previous lives, are our pets going to feel like we're punishing them by leaving everyday, after they had a taste of us being home all the time?

Especially the dogs. The cats will probably be like, "good riddance already!" 🙂

Actually, the larger birds, too, I think will notice our absence. I've come to believe that they can be incredibly smart. I think most other smaller pets will not really notice, as long as we're there, SOMETIMES.

(Just kidding about the cats. I'm a lifelong cat lover, and never have less than 2 rescues at one time.)
