My pup has a wound on her belly that's half her length, about 4 inches. She's crying every time she potties, she can't lie down comfortably, she doesn't understand why she's not allowed to run, jump, or play. She's tired, drugged, and sore. She can't play with her best friend (our cat) who just wants to cuddle with her so bad. She can't keep food down, she can't even drink without vomiting. When she falls asleep, she wakes herself up with coughing fits. She's so exhausted, and she's in pain.
I know it's the right thing to do and it has its health benefits, but I can't help but feel extremely guilty right now. Is this normal? How do I stop feeling like this, and how can I make my baby feel better?
