I’ve had a female leopard gecko for roughly 6 years now. Im wondering how long she has left, considering the average lifespan of a female leopard gecko is apparently 6-10 years (I looked that up so it might be wrong).But the male lifespan is something like 10-20 years. This is because female leopard geckos apparently live far shorter due to egg incubation taking a toll on their bodies. But I’m not breeding my gecko, and don’t plan on it. Will this lengthen her lifespan, or is 6-10 years just their natural lifespan no matter the circumstances?
TLDR: Female leopard gecko is 6 years of age, does she have much time left?
