I’ve been trying for 4 or 5 days to harness train my cat so I can take her out to a grassy spot on a sunny day since we live in an apartment and she loves the balcony so much. But when I put it on her she just... breaks lol
I’ve heard of cats refusing to walk with the harness on, but that’s not it! She stands, sways back and forth, takes a few steps before toppling over, drags herself along by her front legs, stands, takes a few steps, and ends up face planting in the carpet for no reason. If she tries to jump up on the couch or anything, she ends up failing spectacularly and ending up splayed out on the floor. It’s honestly like she’s super plastered, but is magically cured as soon as the harness comes off.
What can I do to help my poor, awkward kitty walk in her harness!? 😂
