My cat is dying, I'm going to call the vet to put her to sleep and I can't handle it

She's 18 and was struggling with her health the past year but she pulled through so beautifuly but now since 4 days everything really went down hill.

I just feel it that this time there is no saving her. And I just can't..

She's been with me since I was 6, I don't know what to do without her.

I was afraid to go downstairs this morning because I thought she might have passed in her sleep.

I just want to be able to hold her and make her comfortable in my arms,but she wants to be left alone. I'm just hurting so much
