Ok - I have called my vet and I am waiting for poison control but I am freaking out and looking if anyone has any info on this. The two vets I called said to call poison control. I had a rather small packing box, maybe 3 x 5 that was filled with small packing peanuts and I left it on the ground in my kitchen for garbage. My dog has NEVER eaten anything that is not food. I come back maybe a half hour later, possibly more and I see they are completely gone. I am freaking out, please help. He seems fine, my mom suggested giving him a small piece of bread. He weighs about 18 pounds and is half bichon frise/shih tzu.
EDIT: I can't afford the $75 poison control consult fee, and they told me to call my vet and it seems they want to charge me to tell me what I should do!? I just found two in the garbage, I put them under water and they dissolved, is this a good thing?
