My male cat (Byte) is a really chill cat, like, the chillest cat ever Now, my German Shepard is also pretty chill, he gets to hang around his house and i play with him as well as the kids do, he is let to walk around twice a day and ALWAYS come back to get tied up when i call him, he is strict, obeys and is adorable !!!
problem: he actually killed one of my dogs a couple of months ago because he thought my dad was in danger and just grabbed the dogs head and slammed him against the floor and left him dead there swift precise and deadly it was terrible
He never attacks a human, but i Fear for my cats life, i tried picking up my cat and getting him inside the house but the dog KEPT LUNGING to bite the cat i grabbed his collar and prevented that from happening, the cat was ... chill? he didnt think he was in danger, i put myself between the cat and the dog and tried to pick him up AND DOGGY IMMEDIATELY lunged his teeth in the cat, didnt hurt Byte but i saw teeth pull skin and i was scared, cat was chill as usual... i pushed the dog away and got inside told my dad whats up and he said i should never touch the cat near him or do any sudden motions because he is gonna kill her immediately, he says the dog is jelous and when the cat and the dog are alone everything is fine, i even watched them eat together from the same plate out of the window, but i cant wrap my head around why he wants to harm him when i try to pick him up
he doesnt growl snore or anything, its just swift Is he jelous or ? i doubt he is playing it definitely doesnt seem like it as much as i want to believe
He thinks im killing the cat and wants to help ?? i have no clue
How he killed the other dog: my neighbor got into my dads tractor with him there, they were doing something, and the dog started being over defensive of the tractor which my dad found really cool, so the dog was barking like crazy, German Shepard fired back at the dog and ran at him (chained so couldnt do anything) but my fearless poor guy run straight into a three times bigger chained dog, got grabbed by the spine and slammed once against the floor, instantly dead, no sign of life
please help im scared for my cat
