Hi All! I am a new kitten owner, and I had a question. I rescued my kitten from the road outside my office where was lost and had been meowing for several hours (it took me a while to find her under a hedge). Right away, she adjusted to being with me, and turned into the most playful kitten I have ever come across. She is now almost 5 months, and would still rather play than do anything else, including eating. One thing, however, has changed. She used to love cuddling, and sleeping in my lap, but now she rarely ever does. She is still affectionate, follows me around, rubs along my legs, and likes the odd head stroke, and purrs when I do, but she usually 'tolerates' that for a few seconds, then it's back to running around. Also, she used to come and sleep in my lap, but now she prefers her little hammock, or the bed. Is this a teenage thing? Will my kitten become cuddly again. I miss having her seek me out for a nap. What have others' experience with kittens been like?
