Currently quarantining at my family’s home in the Midwest and I brought my cat. He’s 5 years and a pretty sturdy guy (11-12 lbs). He loves the outdoors so he’s been going outside, but only at night - his choice. Turns out there’s an owl in the backyard. No clue what kind because I’ve only heard him a few times. Google tells me owls can be dangerous to house cats. Advice on what to do here? Should I ban his outdoor escapades?
