Ok so the dog is 8 and been in the shelter for years (he’s a really big boi (king German Shepard) and the cat is 1 year old(and really small).i know to keep them separate until they are ready and I know the basics of owning each individually but there are stories of them instantly clicking and I don’t know what to do.can someone help give advice
