Do I need to worry about my old dog being slow and drinking frequently?

My dog is an old lady, from our guess approximately 14 years old. She’s a rescue, so we don’t know her exact age or breed.

Lately she’s been really slow and acting somewhat strangely. She has had bladder problems for the last year or so. We’ve solved most of her urinary tract issues with a daily cranberry pill as per vet advice. She also takes glucosamine chondroitin for her arthritis.

Today she did something really odd. While eating her food that we mix her meds with, she peed herself a bit. When encouraged to go outside, she walked extremely slowly, as if she was struggling to move at all. She was panting the whole time too. Then when she came back inside she went to a dark room in the house and just stood in the corner and stared at me, panting.

She’s been drinking a lot of water, which makes sense, it is hot outside. There’s no blood in her urine, which is a relief. I’m still concerned though. Is there something this could be? Or is she just very old?

Note: We are planning on taking her to the vet soon to get up to date on her shots. I have a surgery coming up, however, so it has to happen afterwards, unfortunately.
