Please scroll to the poll if you’re uninterested in my elderly cat story ^
A month ago I got my 13 years old cat from my parents. She’s an indoor/outdoor cat and always been active. Parents fed her twice a day, once wet and once dry. My mom told me the cat is not very affectionate and her poop really stinks.
Ever since I got her, I’ve been feeding her raw meat. I only feed her what I’d eat myself, nothing cheap. She really likes chicken and turkey. If I don’t have any, I resort to lean pork. She doesn’t seem to like beef, I guess because in the wild cats would never even get to taste beef! Hahaha.
So I feed her raw meat in the morning and leave her a plate of half wet half dry cat food for the night (and water of course!). She’s been extremely affectionate all this time and her poop barely even smells! She’s so energetic and I feel this diet is doing her good. However when I searched online, the views on raw food for cats have diverged.
Do you feed your pet raw meat?
