I don't know where else to post so I hope it fits here. So my dog is 13years old and her lungs are in bad condition.. So she is quite old and sick and overweight also. She is still happy but can't go on long walks and coughs very often. She is on medicine but the vet said that this disease can't be cured and goes worse by time. The more days, weeks and months go by, the more sick she gets and the more I think that I haven't got much time with her left... I am so scared of losing her and cry myself to sleep way too much. I try to take my mind else where but when I have had a good time with my loved ones I feel guilty afterwards that I shouldn't feel happy when my dog is passing away soon .. It is 4 am rn and I can't sleep. Again... How to handle this constant fear of losing her and what if it's actually time for her to go and we have to put her to sleep?.. Why do I feel guilty for being happy sometimes? Please somebody help, I don't know how can I live without her:(
