So as the title says, my two year old female Australian shepherd will not stop try to herd my 10 week old female kitten. When they are both in a playful mood they get along great and absolutely love playing with each other. But during times like feeding time for the kitten, the dog will try to block her off from getting to her food bowl or will nip at her back legs which sometimes frightens her a little bit. I have tried using "stay" on the dog to let the kitten go by, but it's like she hyper focuses on the kitten and clomp lately blocks me out. Anyone on here have experience with herding breeds? Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
