My cat might have Pyometra

Hi, I have no idea if anyone will read this, but I have 2 cats, one is about 1 year old, and all black, with a tiny amount of white hair under her chin, and very small for her age. The 2nd is about 2 to 3 months old and has grey, brown, and white patches all over her. This is about the older of the two. Her name is Midnight

Today, we noticed pus coming out of her lady cat parts. My mom did some research and called a vet near us, she said it could probably be Pyometra, her reasoning being she has been through multiple heats without getting pregnant. Pyometra is an infection in the cats uterus because of them going into heat multiple times, and not getting pregnant, causing the uterine lining to build up and form a cyst. We hope we caught it early enough, as some of the other symptoms are lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting, and diahhrea. She hasn't had any of these symptoms yet, and thats why I think we caught it early enough.

My mom is taking off early to take her to the vet tomorrow, but we are worried we won't have enough money to pay for the surgery to spay her, and we would have to put her down. The infection would kill her uterus, and get into the abdomen, and spread through her blood stream, and it would kill her. It would be a slow and painful death for her. I'm worried and scared. I will post an update on way or another tomorrow.
