My cats are having problems with each other.

So my cat recently had babies and we have another cat (Male). They've known each other for years and were NEVER aggressive towards each other. Recently, like a few weeks ago we had growls and they were doing that "stance" of looking at each other but then calmed down when we said something like "HEY!". We got careful and started paying even more attention to them because we did not want them to fight. Then on and off they would out of nowhere attack each other but not like to the point of blood or hurt just like "slaps" and then going away. We were weirded out because then the same day we would see them sleeping together or grooming each other? Today they attacked each other and one had a bit of blood, which obviously made us extremely anxious as we do not want them to fight each other. The injury wasn't bad, just a minor scratch that we cleaned up. However, now we just put them together in the same room to see if they weren't fighting each other and they are back to being friends and kissing and being together. This has caused me and my family a lot of anxiety because we care for them A LOT and we don't want them to fight because we don't know what to do if they don't stop. Please help!
