My cat is about 15 now, and physically is in pretty good health. He can still run and jump although he does spend most of the day sleeping. The big problem is when I'm sleeping. He usually goes to sleep on my chair, but at about 2am he will wake me up by yelling. For some reason he can't meow, so it just sounds like when you accidentally step on a cat's tale. If I put him out, he will just yell and scratch the door about every 10 minutes. If I leave him in he generally just walks around on the bed and is very disruptive. I suspect he is in some sort of cognitive decline. I haven't had a full nights sleep in quite a while due to him and its really affecting me. I've tried spraying him with water but I'm all out of ideas. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
