I got a new budgie from the pet store like 3 days ago. In the first day he was scared and didn't move at all, he also ate when I wasn't in the room; the second day he started moving but he still doesn't eat when I am around; in the third day he started moving around and he is eating when ca see him, but he still gets stressed if I put my hand near the cage and freaks out if I put it in (I only grabbed him when I put him from the box in the cage).(he doesn't chirp, or sing )
I know it is a stressful moment for him, but I am worried. Is this behavior normal?
