We've treated our pets for their fleas with medication, however as we're continuing fighting to get them out of our house, they're still biting us.
I'm wondering if there's a way to make humans less "appetizing" to fleas, kind of like what the medication does for our pets. I seem to be particularly yummy to them, as I am the one who complains most out of my family members about being bitten. I know that could just be paranoia though; I dunno if they truly do find something about me more appetizing or if my family just isn't as sensitive as I am to the biting though.
I'm also hoping (nay, praying) that there is a way to soothe and get rid of existing flea bites on humans. My feet and legs are covered in little red bites and even though I read online that bites should disappear after two or so days, mine seem to last a very long time (granted I will admit I may just be mistaking new bites for old ones, but I really don't think so).
And of course the general: how can we get rid of these horrible pests? We even tried bombing our house with a flea bomb. There were no problems for a day. And now I'm being bitten just as much as before. Actually... it feels like more. I now get multiple jumping on me at the same time.
I'm really begging here. Being cooped up inside all the time is one thing, but to also be cooped up with parasites that are constantly snacking on you is just... it's driving me mad! And since I'm the one bitten most, I'm the only one in my house really putting the effort in to getting rid of the problem. It's so frustrating and agitating to not be able to relax in your own house without checking your feet every two minutes to see if you have a flea on you.
