I just adopted a new cat yesterday afternoon. Very friendly. Doesn’t bite or scratch. The problem is she won’t stop meowing. When we got home, I chilled out with her in my room for a few hours. I set up food and water and she has already used her new litter box. The door to my room was closed and she was tearing up the carpet by the door even though I was in the room with her. I figured she wanted to be let out. Now for the past several hours she has been wandering around my house and meowing loudly and incessantly. I don’t think she’s hungry or thirsty and she knows where my room is. When I bring her back to my room, she goes back to the rest of the house and wanders and meows. I’m not sure what to do. I just want to sleep (it’s currently 3:05 AM). What do I do?
