Shelter was feeding my cat Friskies (wet) and Science Diet (dry). Reddit has made me feel like the worst person in the world for continuing to feed my newly-adopted cat these brands.

I recently adopted a 2-year-old black domestic shorthair. The shelter was telling me that he LOVED the Friskies pate for wet food, and the Science Diet kibble for dry food. After doing some research on other reddit threads, it appears that I am, in fact, the devil. Is this true?
