I have 2 alley cats that live outside my house, they both fairly young (one is probably 1-2 years, the other is 2-3 months old), unfortunately I cannot adopt them and I couldn't find anyone else to adopt them either.
I've managed to get fairly close to the kitten to the point that she lets me play with her, and sometimes pet her and hold her (depending on her mood) so I also managed to take her to a vet to give her basic treatment and check out.
my concern is this: sadly I don't have money for good quality food, since it costs quite a bit here, I can only manage to buy cheap dry food which is probably a bad food to live on, lots of fillers and most likely low quality protein source, I feel bad feeding them this food because it will probably not have a good affect on their health in the long run, but I really can't afford more.
Should I stop feeding them entirely and let them survive on their own and eat what they can get out there? or is any food better than no food?
