I found a cute kitten yesterday, and it was so scared and small, so I gave it some milk and helped it. But I can't keep it and I am hesitant to send it to the pound, since there are no sheltets here. You might be thinking "there can't be no shelters", but no there aren't. The closest thing is a pound, but the conditions there are awful and they kill the animals that don't get adopted.
As for why I can't keep it, I have a jealous dog at home and she is VERY unwelcoming to small animals that set foot in our yard. I want to help the kitten but there's not much I can do.
The good news is there's a bunch of facebook groups consisting of animal lovers, so there's a chance if I post about the kitten there, someone would take her.
If that doesn't work though, I'm not sure what I'd do. Does anyone have any advice?
