Hi everyone, I hope this okay for me to post here, I'm kinda at a loss and I just need a bit of outside advice I guess.
So recently my family has taken in two abandoned kittens, they still need to be bottle fed and are undeniably cute and such have been getting a lot of attention. They were unplanned and we didn't really have time to adjust our 5 month German Shepard puppy Roxie. We've been introducing them and she really seems to like them and get along with them but it seems like since they've been brought here she has been really acting out. She's almost constantly barking and we make sure she has food and water and that she doesn't need to use the bathroom. We even try to play with her and walk her when its not so hot out. But she just keeps barking and she's beginning to bite us too. Not terribly hard, but enough that it does hurt. She has a vet appointment coming up and I'm thinking of mentioning her behavior to her vet because it just seems like all the training we've done with her has just gone down the drain. We try to give her as much attention as we can but its difficult some days because the kittens need us as well.
So I'm thinking that she might be jealous, but I'm just not sure what to do about it. I apologize this was so long but I just really need some advice.
