Why are guinea pigs and rabbits so skittish but rats, hamsters, gerbils arent?

Have you ever noticed that out of the pets I’ve listed guinea pigs are the most timid? While rats, gerbils and hamsters are so teeny tiny they usually stand in the face of danger, and bite and hiss at their attackers if all other options are not available meanwhile these big pack guinea pigs run in fear even by a sound of a sneeze? And rabbits can die of heart attacks by the simplest things? Why is it that the bigger rodents are more skittish when they are infact harder prey compared to the teeny tiny rodents
