So I'm going on vacation for about 11 days and I'm leaving my 4mo old kitten at my friend's house. I know it's not ideal to move her, but my only option person who could cat sit in my apartment would be my brother... who was charging me an unreasonable amount of money and who I know, though loving, wouldn't be a great option.
So, my cat is going to go stay at my friend's apartment. I plan on bringing my kitty's tree, some pillows, her toys, food bowls, water fountain, etc to try to make her as comfy as possible. Im also going to stay with her for a day so she maybe feels less frightened. She's a crazy social cat- her and my friend ger along well and they play bunches every time my friend comes over. Part of the reason I am choosing my friend is because I know she is responsible and won't be leaving her house for long periods of time. My cat gets ultra lonely whenever she is by herself for a few hours (my brother works 10-12 hour shifts so that's partially why I don't want him taking care of her....partially why..)
I know this isn't an ideal situation, but does anyone have any tips or recommendations to help her out? She is super curious and loves exploring new areas.
