i got a cat recently, she lived with a dog thats a bit smaller than mine before getting here and she played with him, my dog is very friendly towards cats and is gentle with kittens and other animals that arent adults, but probably seems annoying to the cat because hes always excited to see her. he doesnt do anything mostly just sits around while she hisses at him all the time. i really thought itd be fine but idk. its only the 2nd day since getting her though, plus she seems to be a little less scared. please dont think i dont mind her being scared or that im cruel for introducing them, i really do feel bad that shes scared. plus there was a stray kitten that kept coming to us and she was also scared of our dog but warmed up pretty quickly. i at least need her to realize she doesnt need to be scared because he wont hurt her
