Hello! I have recently started introducing my 1 year old cat (who is nutered) and he likes it. He stays outside for 1 hour or so then goes back inside to sleep, eat etc. Now, he stays outside, sleeps outside, and barely eats anything. It's gotten to a point where he doesn't even go home during the nights and sleeps under a flipped over table. If I don't let him out, he starts scratching the door (I live in a flat) all night long with intervals of 2 minutes between scratches.
Is there anyway that I can deter my cat from going outside? Do I have to give in and let him be outside for as long as he wants without interference? Advice would be appreciated.
