My cat ozzy who is about 1 year old has been randomly gagging and licking his lips (idk if he has always licked his lips like this or if I’m just watching more closely since the gagging started) He isn’t heaving, just one Gag a few times a day. I’m taking him to vet soon but with corona taking my job away I’m so short on money I’m worried. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? He isn’t heaving violently, he will just do a short gag randomly! I was feeding him a new wet food but I stopped when the gagging started, and it god “better” (not as often) now but it still happens maybe once or twice a day? He is a short haired cat. I also recently brought home a new kitten, and changed ozzy from a free feeder to a scheduled feeder to try to help them get a long better..
