Hey y’all, my family got a kitten like 5 weeks ago and we quickly found out that he is VERY energetic and playful. That’s fine, we have more than enough time to play with him what with quarantine happening, but a huge problem is that he won’t stop fucking with our dog we’ve had for 7 years. Our dog has a lot of anxiety so most of the time he doesn’t really fight back but just nervously begs for help, but when he does fight back i’m always worried that our cat will accidentally claw his eye out. I don’t care if the cat and the dog are friends, I just don’t want either of them to get hurt, and if that means they never interact then so be it. I was wondering if anyone has experience with a kitten terrorizing a dog and how they handled training the cat to just leave the dog alone. Thanks for any and all help!
