I am strongly considering adopting a shiba inu that can only vaguely perceive light. He was born with a disconnection in the nerves between his eyes and brain, and thus cannot get better from surgery.
My questions are, for those of you who’ve had dogs with similar conditions, what is it like to raise one? What challenges exist, do they bark at nothing often, etc.
