First time dog sitting for a new client, it’s almost 7PM and he hasn’t pooped

I’m staying in house with a beautiful 8yo mutt and we’ve been active all day since noon. He’s had dinner and a few treats, but nothing has come out the other end. He’s peed a lot, but nothing solid. What should I do?
