My parents began fostering a cat about 2 years ago. He did not transition well. I believe he was actually feral before we took him in. In the 2 years, I have become the only person he trusts. So I decided to just adopt him myself so he doesn’t have to go through another stressful situation of meeting new humans.
Anyways, I’m moving in October. I’m starting to stress out because I have no idea how I’m going to transfer him. I can pet him, sit next to him, give him kisses, but the moment I try to pick him up he panics. I’m just looking for some advice to make moving a little bit easier. I don’t want to traumatize the poor kitty.
