One of my outside cats that is feral just brought me a week old kitten. The kitten is not hers, although she has had litters in the past. The kitten belongs to another feral cat that is outside around my house. I am thinking the cat has the mother instinct in her to “help” the mom or the kitten but she isn’t able to feed this kitten. The mom is no where to be found, since she is feral, so I’m thinking she might be taking care of other kittens?? My cat is also rejecting the kitten now and won’t take it back to the mom. Not to mention this happened late at night and no store is open to buy formula for the kitten. Any suggestions?
