It’s a long story but I need help and don’t know where to get it.
Well a few years ago we had 2 dogs (Rosebud & Luke) and 1 cat named Caspian. Sadly rosebud passed away at a young age due to cancer and that was my moms closest dog. So out of panic almost, she went to a shelter and picked the cutest dog. The problem became that what was this dogs behavior like? She didn’t look too much into it and got a dog with more than a few issues. Since then, we have had to keep her and the cat separated because she could kill Caspian.
So my mom just locks the cat up in a room all day by himself where it smells terrible. At night, he lets him out and forgets to do so a lot as well. So instead of being in there for 16 hours alone, he can be in there for up to 40 hours alone in one room.
And now she wants to get another dog after Luke passed... like what the hell. We are not dealing with the situation at hand with Caspian. I confront her about this and she plays the victim and cries. Forgot she was the one trapped in a room all day with nothing to do. She is extremely sensitive.
This was Caspian’s house first and he got along with Rosebud and Luke. And now he is a prisoner. He is a rag doll that a lot of families would adore to have but she doesn’t care for him as much as she does dogs. That cats are more independent and don’t need humans. So lock me away for 16 hours a day walk around lonely for 8 while everyone is asleep.
What do I do?
