Hello people of Reddit! So I recently adopted a new kitten. I don't know her back story, but I'm going to assume she was a dumpster kitty. The reason why I say that is when me and my boyfriend eat of course human food around her, she gets super excited and tries to eat our stuff. So i have had her for 4 days already, and I noticed she rarely uses the litter. She'll poop, but it's small amounts and it's watery. I haven't really seen much of her peeing and I have been checking the litter. My boyfriend does have a cat as well and he did tell me it's normal for kittens to act like that because it's a new environment but it will go away pretty quickly. As that happened to his cat when So I'm taking his word but me being paranoid, I think it's something different.
Anywho, I noticed she's been shartting. She'll do it on me, on the bed, on my papers and I'm questioning if she was a dumpster kitty, maybe it's change of food for her? She's currently on Science Diet kitten food. She eats normally but I'm really starting to be concerned here. She has a appointment on the 19th so I'll wait to see what happens.... If anything gets worse, what should I do?
