So my girlfriend and I just rescued out very first cat, he's only a year old and was very nice and enjoyed being pet at the shelter. We decided to adopt him and now he's at our house, we got him a ton of new toys, a scratch pole, and a litter box, but all he does is stay under the bed ! I'm sure this is a usual new car behavior but I'm just curious as to how long he'll keep doing this, or what's a better way to get him used to the new household.
