I'm 36M and live alone. I adopted a young cat about a month ago hoping she would help with my mental health but I am struggling. I get very little sleep as she is nocturnal of course and wants to play at 2 in the morning. I tried to lock her out of my bedroom but she just yowls constantly to be let back in. During the day I'm at work and If I'm not she wants constant attention for hours. I feel bad but I may need to return her to the shelter.
