I have a cat of four years who's always been a single cat, and I've been thinking about getting a second one. My current apartment is too small for a second cat, but I'm very likely to move soon, to a bigger house with a garden. I was thinking: if I introduce the second cat at the same time as the move, none will have their established territory, so it might not feel like an intrusion. On the other hand, a move plus a new cat might be too stressful at the same time (although I've moved before and that did not seem to bother my current cat).
What do you think?
