We’re very afraid to get too close to him because he appears to be stray and strays are usually very afraid and aggressive (defensive) in my country. As in, they never let people close, and then they feel trapped and scared they will very likely jumpt at your and attack you, and they can blind us.
But this guy is weird.
He just stays in the same position, with the same expression, for hours, without moving nor reacting to anything nor making a sound. I left him food and water and it’s been 2 hours and he’s still in the same place, like a statue. I’m afraid to get too close to him. He doesn’t react. He doesn’t hiss nor meow nor anything. I was afraid that he was hurt or had brain damage.
The water bowl needed to be refilled, which means that at least he can move.
He is extremely scared because we heard my cat scream extremely loud in the basement at night so we went down quickly with big sticks thinking that it was a big rat fighting him (like before), and were looking for the rat everywhere with the big sticks, passing right in front of the cat a lot of times without seeing him. When my mother came face to face with him she screamed really loud because his fur made him look like a rat. So, the poor guy was already scared because of my cat and then immediately saw two scary people with big sticks looking for him and almost hitting him with the sticks many times because his fur pattern made him almost invisible.
We called everyone we could call, nobody is coming to help us. We need to solve it ourselves. Right now we’re going to sleep
