About a month ago I adopted my kitty when he was 12 weeks old. I spent lots of time with him as I was doing remote work so he hardly spent time alone. However, when I would leave for a short period of time he would begin to cry very loudly (it can be heard through the whole house). He’s now 18 weeks old and is still exhibiting the same behavior but I’m not around as frequently as I used to be. He’s so excited to see me even when I come back to tell him to quit it. It’s difficult bc he’s so social- he follows me around like a puppy. I’ve tried spraying him and it only works short term. If it helps to know, he always has a clean litter box, plenty of toys and fresh food/water.
Any advice on how to make him stop?
